Christmas is a period of high profits. So it has been a sport to many companies to persuade customers that their products are the perfect Christmas gifts for our friends and family. Therefore they are creating spectacular advertising campaigns and co-operations. Now with the snow falling in Berlin we are getting into the Christmas mood and thought it’s a great idea to present our top 5 of the best Christmas co-operation ideas on Mesh-Box. Here we go:

Top 5: Tchibo and Deutsche Post

For all people who don’t want to send their Christmas presents in a dull grey box, Deutsche Post and Tchibo designed a Christmas parcel. When buying your presents in a Tchibo shop from 17th November till 21st December you can purchase the parcel with it and send it to your friends all over
Germany. In my opinion a great co-operation - with its festive look it saves me from all the gift wrapping.

Top 4: Piper-Heidsieck and Christian Louboutin

If you are still searching for an exclusive present this year number 4 is maybe having the perfect idea for you. Christian Louboutin and Piper-Heidsieck created a crystal stiletto that is sold along with a special Louboutin-edition bottle of Champagne Piper Heidsieck Cuvée Brut in a fancy box. So if you want to resurrect the ritual of drinking champagne from high heels you can find this present in your well-assorted retailer. The ultimate gift for fashionistas.

Top 3: Burger King and Paramount Home Entertainment

This year Burger King and Paramount Home Entertainment are bringing you a Christmas calendar that’s a little bit different. Everyday a present is hidden somewhere on the Burger King website. By using the hints on the Christmas calendar page you can find it and win iPods, TV’s, digital cameras and notebooks every day. It’s like Christmas day every day.

Top 2: BUND, Scholz & Volkmer and Heinz Hoenig

Just in time for the Copenhagen climate change conference, the agency Scholz & Volkmer, the league for the environment and nature conservation (BUND) and German actor Heinz Hoenig are reminding us of the impact of the climate change. In a short movie Heinz Hoenig is playing a Santa Claus whose sleigh is stuck in the mud because of the lack of snow. To help, him users can call Santa to give some hints how we all can protect the climate. These tips will then be published on a website plus for every post on this audio-blog, Scholz & Volkmer will donate one euro to the organisation BUND. We think: don’t forget to think about the climate change even if it’s Christmas!

Top 1: Coca Cola + Ein Herz fĂĽr Kinder

When it comes to Christmas advertising campaigns one company can’t be missed out – the designer of Santa Claus’ outfit: Coca Cola. This year the company is co-operating with the charity organisation “Ein Herz für Kinder” and helps to raise the awarness for childrens needs. On Coca Cola’s website you can decorate your house on Google maps with fairy lights and send it as personalised Christmas greetings to friends and family. For every online decorated house in Germany Coca Cola is donating one euro to the organisation. So you can do two good things at once: making your friends happy by sending some greetings to them plus helping children in need.

But no matter if you are decorating your house on Google maps or drinking champagne out of a crystal stiletto, Mesh Box wishes a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all of you!
